Watched this TV series when I was 7 years old!

Read this article in the newspapers today. Apparently some NTU students developed a solar powered table top that can be used to power radios, LAMPS, electric fans and laptops. They could have used a better appliance in the picture instead of a LAMP! Solar-powered Lamp!? Ha Ha!

It is also reported that “A full set comprising a table and four chars, would be sold at a promotional price of S$4,500.” In addition, the National Park authorities are considering using the solar tables in local parks.

How about solar-powered CCTVs to prevent thieves from stealing the solar panels from these tables?

Update: Comment from my friend TXCinc, “hahaha, but you can’t put your appliances on the solar table, so you’d have to have another non solar table to hold the appliances being charged by the solar table”

Well, I prefer food from the hawker center.
